March 2010

March was the countdown until Tim came home from the ship (at the end of the month). We worked during the week with school, piano and soccer started (3 days a week!!). Then on the weekends we played, played, played.

At some point while making his bed, Elijah got "stuck" behind it.

Noah thought he could help...

Or maybe it was just funner to jump and say, "Elijah, don't ya wish you weren't stuck so you could do this!!" Elijah was mad at Noah for teasing, and at me for taking pictures. Poor guy!

We went to Bios on the Hill with our best friends, the Spagnas and Brownfields.

They played on a cool tree house playground thing...

They fed the goats...

They jumped and ran around...
And climbed like monkeys...

And they helped eachother take off on the BIG swing while I took pictures ;-}

We got lucky to run into some guy playing the Japanese shamisen.

Noah gave it a try...

Picnic snack time!!

Playing at yet ANOTHER park...
Noah is always acting goofy.

Max, Olivia, Elijah, and Noah

It was a LONG 2 month deployment! I was in need of some adult time, so the girls decided to go out for a much needed "Ladies Night". Babysitter, check. New skinny jeans, check. Dinner reservations, check. Cab money, check....Ready!!!

Me, Sharon, Lorelei, and Karen..pre-party pics

More met us at dinner: Karen, Sharon, Han, Lorelei, Me, And Jennifer
Who wants a shot??
"Amber, you're such a dork!! Turn the camera around!!"
"Oh, this feels better. I think I got it right now." Lol...

Lorelei and I

Now back to being Mommy....took the kids to a "Kids Pampered Chef Party"
They had fun, and so did I!

Elijah's Literature Parade at school. His kindergarten class did "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"

Soccer time!!
Get em' boy!!
He was always right wherever the ball was...after it like white on rice.
Since Noah wasn't 5 yet, he wasn't allowed to sign up for soccer this year. But the coach was nice enough to let him practice with the team:-)
And he even lied to the ref one time and said Noah forgot his uniform so he could play in a game!! (He was better than most of the kids on the team..haha!)
(Noah is the one in the makeshift soccer uniform: red shirt and black shorts.)
Go Spideys!!
